User agreement

These terms apply to the service Unibook, provided by Foreach AS, and the customer who has entered into an agreement to use Unibook.

By using Unibook, you agree to these terms.

Definitions

• “Customer” means you as an individual or the company registered with Unibook.
• “User” means the individuals who have a user account linked to the company’s account with Unibook.
• “We,” “us,” and “the provider” mean Foreach AS as the service provider.
• “Unibook” refers to our service available as a web application on unibook.app and its subdomains.
• “The service” / “services” means the service described above.
• “Website” means our website at www.unibook.app.

Licenses

Licenses grant the company access to use the service.
Licenses are paid in advance for one month or one year.
Ordered licenses are non-refundable.

Customer Obligations

The customer is responsible for keeping usernames and passwords securely stored to prevent unauthorized access. If the customer suspects that unauthorized access has occurred, the provider must be notified immediately.

The customer is obligated to notify the provider of changes to important information, including company name, address, phone number, email, and contact person.

Termination

The customer terminates their agreement by disabling renewal within the service. Ordered licenses remain valid until the main due date.

Licenses are automatically renewed on the main due date unless renewal is disabled.

The provider may terminate the agreement under the following circumstances:

• Use violates Norwegian law.
• Use breaches this agreement and/or its attachments.
• Use causes disruptions to the provider’s systems.

Privacy

The provider may process personal data on behalf of the customer as a result of the customer and the customer’s users utilizing the service.

In this context, the provider acts as a data processor for the customer under the Personal Data Act.

The customer is the data controller under the law and has full control over the personal data processed through the service.

Backup

Regular backups are taken of all data stored when using the service. The customer is not entitled to compensation or refunds due to data loss.

Restoring data from backups not caused by service errors may be billed to the customer based on time spent.

Liability

The provider is under no circumstances liable for loss of revenue or data resulting from errors or defects in the service and delivery.

Force Majeure

In the event of extraordinary circumstances, the parties are relieved from the agreement for the duration of the situation. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, strikes, lockouts, line failures at the telecommunications provider, war, natural disasters, or any other event considered force majeure.
